It is also known for its incredible healing properties. Thyme honey is indeed able to accelerate the healing of tissues. It is even sometimes used in hospitals.
Manuka honey
Manuka honey from New Zealand is as effective in prevention as it is in action. What makes it so special is its MGO or UMF concentration depending on the brand. This concentration is indicated by a number on the honey jar and indicates its anti-bacterial power. The higher it is, the more active it will be. It is the methylglyoxal molecule behind this power.
This honey is effective in treating sore throats, vocal cord problems, flu...
Use: 1 teaspoon, once or twice a day before meals for prevention and 3 to 5 times a day for direct treatment.
Fir honey
Fir honey is a full-fledged honey because it does not come from flowers but from the collection by bees of honeydew (excretions of small insects which suck the sap of trees...), like forest honey or oak honey for example.
Its composition is unique: water, fructose, glucose, sucrose, dextrose as well as amino acids and minerals. In addition, it offers a large amount of trace elements such as phosphorus, iron, zinc, boron, copper. It is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and remineralizing honey.
