It is mainly found in Canada and Argentina. It is much rarer in France because the clover fields are often mowed by farmers before they flower.

It is often found in all-flower honeys and rarely under its mono-floral name. Clover honey is mainly harvested in the plains.

It flowers from May to June and is usually harvested from late June to late July. Its color draws towards white.
