Madagascar: one of the countries least affected by pesticides
The biodiversity of Madagascar is unique in the world. The land of this wonderful country is still preserved from the pesticides that invade our regions. No phytosanitary products are used by farmers in the region.
The latest international studies on neonicotinoids place Madagascar at the top of the list of countries least affected by pesticides. The beekeepers are grouped together in beehives and part of the harvest revenue is used to create road, educational and medical infrastructures.
A strong ecological approach is implemented to raise awareness among the local population of the importance of protecting biodiversity and the role of bees in its development.
Honeys of exceptional purity
Jean, a Frenchman with an agronomic background, moved to Madagascar 25 years ago and in 2015 installed over 350 beehives a few kilometres from Manaka, in areas guaranteed to be pesticide-free.
Jean Walter's production is of exceptional purity.
The species of bee found in this region is the Apis Mellifère Unicolor. It is endemic to the Malagasy soil, robust, not very aggressive and relatively spared from the diseases found elsewhere.

C'est un coffret pour un cadeau donc les miels n'ont pas encore été goûtés, mais l'envoi était très soigné, bien protégé et le coffret à l'air très joli je suis très satisfaite et je recommanderais sûrement.
